The annual Track & Field Day at Hare Field in Hillsboro is a highlight for everyone. There is friendly competition between schools and students although no team score is kept. Parents are heavily involved in running the many events of the day and encouraging their students. Some parents get involved in participating in events. Teacher help by moving their classes around to the different areas where events are held. Some activities are just for fun.
